Elaine Lin was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in February 2011 after graduating from the University of Sydney with degrees in Commerce (majoring in Accounting) and Law in 2009.
In 2009, Elaine was awarded the New South Wales Women Justices’ Association Prize for an outstanding research essay on the mandatory dispute resolution requirements in children-related applications under the Family Law Act 1975 (Cth).
Elaine’s current practice includes the following areas of legal work:

Due diligence inquiries (including advising on documents written in Chinese). |

Sale and purchase of commercial and residential properties. |
Elaine Lin is fluent in Mandarin and her combined legal expertise and language skills will be of benefit to many of the clients of Aequitas VTS Lawyers particularly those who intend to invest in or are undertaking corporate and/or commercial transactions in China. |
